John Hanson CMA is a writer living in Saint John. He is a Certified Management Accountant with experience in shipbuilding, management consulting, transportation, and information technology. He now teaches at NBCC. John understands that writing is a complicated endeavor and is difficult to achieve success on one’s own. He works at building avenues to facilitate writer relationships, including Saint John’s NaNoWriMo group, Fog City Scribes on Facebook, and a weekly prompt writing group at the library. John’s event coordination experience includes organizing registration for the World Chess Festival in 1988. John has a few novels in progress and won second place in Fog Lit’s 2013 short story contest.
